Meet Your Tutor

Hi! I’m Sky, the founder of NextStep Math Co. and a certified high school math teacher with a passion for helping students succeed.

I specialize in supporting students who feel overwhelmed or behind in math, particularly in Algebra 1 and foundational skills such as multiplication and division. My approach focuses on making math understandable, engaging, and confidence-building rather than stressful or intimidating.

I work primarily with students in grades 8–10, while also offering flexible support for learners in grades 4–12 as needed.

My Teaching Philosophy

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Mathematics Learning and Teaching, Drexel University

• Certified Secondary Mathematics Teacher

• Experienced High School Math Educator

• Specialist in Algebra 1 and Math Foundations

• Currently Pursuing a Technology Certificate, York College of Pennsylvania

• Skilled in Delivering Engaging and Effective Online Instruction

• Experienced in Supporting Students with ADHD and Diverse Learning Needs
